An Edinburgh statue has been targeted with anti-slavery graffiti.
Robert Dundas, 2nd Viscount Melville, has been branded 'son of slavery' and a 'colonialist profiter'.
Statues with connections to slavers have been targeted across the UK following huge Black Lives Matters rallies.
It is believed the monument was attacked due to Robert being the son of Henry Dundas who deliberately delayed the abolition of slavery to protect the elite.
