FESTIVAL THEATRE Scottish Opera: Tosca Dementia Friendly
A Dementia Friendly performance of Scottish Opera's Tosca. These performances are fully staged and performed by a narrator on stage, the orchestra of Scottish Opera and cast of singers. Audiences are led through the performance and hear some of the best loved music from the opera.
Lighting levels are brighter in the auditorium and people are able to move in and out during the performance and watch the performance from one of the TV screens front of house.
Passion, glamour, love worth dying for – Anthony Besch’s Tosca has it all. In 1940s Rome, in the shadow of Mussolini’s tyrannical rule, the ill-fated lovers come to life against a backdrop of political corruption and intrigue. This superb production is beloved the world over – don’t miss it as it comes home to the Scottish Opera stage
